Journaling Challenge – Day 4

Recording a video is proving to be a bit complicated, although in retrospect I think it is me who is lazy or simply do not want to do it for now. I must say that when I record my videos in the mountain they just happen, but in the city with the people walking around it is a bit harder. Without extending myself too much tonight I will go straight onto the questions.

What filled me with enthusiasm today?

Today I started working on an internal healthy programme for the company. So I am doing a deck for everyone to show them why I consider we should do it and how to do it.

During lunch time I went for a walk and the weather was so good that I decided to to take off my shoes and started walking on the beach shore and it was fantastic! I cannot believe it is January but Global Warming is here to stay.

I also enjoyed doing yoga for just 30 minutes in the afternoon after coming back from work. It was revitalising and energetic. The music helped me to calm my thoughts and my body enjoy the slow place moves as well as trying to keep my balance right.

What drained me of energy today?

Since today I was working on something I actually find interesting and motivating I did not feel like my energy was draining. Except for when I had to start reading a contract my company signed with a consultan company and it became a bit boring.

What did I learn about myself today?

I learnt that I feel happy and healthier and lighter eating just vegetables for a couple of days. I also learnt that motivation comes from doing the things you really find interesting. Helping my workmates getting fitter and healthier in the work place is one of them.

Finally yoga is really effective for balance and body posture. It also calms my thoughts more than I would have expected. I need to continue doing it.
